Jean/Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro (Eula Valdez) was killed by Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino). Miguel shot Jane without any second thoughts because he knows that Jane would inform the authorities about his residence. On the other hand, Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) was very shocked that Miguel killed Jane. Margaret was even disappointed to herself because she failed to protect Jane from Miguel. Later that time, Margaret went home saddened by Jane's death wherein she chose to be alone rather than talking to Kenneth (Ogie Diaz), who wanted to give her an information about Homer Reyes (William Lorenzo). After awhile, when Margaret was left alone, she desperately wanted to tell everybody about what happened to Jane but it will only risk her life. Meanwhile, Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) together with Luisa Reyes (Sharmaine Buencamino) and Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) were on their way to the province. On their way, Daniel noticed Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) who followed the cab they rode. Daniel then asked the cab driver to drive fast so that Nathan won't be able to follow them anymore. Luckily, a truck intercepted Nathan's car, giving Daniel together with Katerina and Luisa escape from him. Concurrently, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) went to see Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) at her residence. Emily was not happy to see Marco because Jane once accused her as Marco's mistress. Marco, on the other hand, comforted Emily, telling Emily that they are not going to end their relationship.
