Anessa Panaligan/Diomedes (Judy Ann Santos) went to the OB-Gynecologist to know if she is in great condition after she miscarried. During Anessa' check up, the Doctor informed Anessa that she will be having a hard time to be pregnant again because of what happened to her. Later at night, at the boarding house of Leandros Panaligan (Joseph Marco), Anessa together with Leandros and Demetria Panaligan (Susan Africa) were having a dinner together. At that time, Demetria asked Anessa if she still have something she did not inform them because she noticed something different from her. After awhile, the landlady of the boarding house came to their room and asked for the Panaligan family's payment. During that time, the Landlady noticed a lot of boarders from the Panaligan family and asked for an additional payment. Meanwhile, Romulos Diomedes (Tirso Cruz III) paid somebody to kill Larry (Mike Lloren) without any signs of foul play so that they won't have a problem against the NBI anymore. Successfully, Ramon (Mico Palanca) killed Larry without any evidence that he was killed intentionally. After Larry's death, Romulos is very confident to continue his illegal business. Helena Romulos (Coney Reyes), on the other hand, went to the church and repented towards the illegal business of her husband. Meanwhile, Eros Dioemedes (Sam Milby) went to the house of Alexis Galang (KC Concepcion) wherein they talked about their individual problems. Alexis find Eros as an opportunist who usually remembers her when he have problems. After awhile, when Alexis noticed that Eros is already drunk, she asked Eros to leave because she don't want Eros to stay at her house for long. The day after, Eros left early at their house making Romulos and Helena worry about him. Eros went to investigate where Anessa lives and found her at a pawnshop. During that time, Eros found out that Anessa pawned their wedding ring for fifty thousand pesos. When Anessa left the pawnshop, Leandros bought the ring for two hundred thousand pesos and went to the residence of Alexis. During that time, Alexis was very shocked that Anessa pawned their wedding ring which gave her an idea that Anessa doesn't care about their marriage anymore. Eros, on the other hand, did not listen to Alexis because he knows that Alexis only wants to be in Anessa's position as his wife. The day after, at Leandro's boarding house, Leandros and Demetria left early, leaving Anessa alone. After awhile, Eros surprisingly visited Anessa and confronted her about her wedding ring. Eros even tried to convince Anessa to go back to him so that they could fix their marriage. With this in mind, will accept Eros' apologies and start all over again?
