Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) was captured by the Police with the case, frustrated murder of Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). At the police station, Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) together with Marco Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) arrived. After awhile, Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) and Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) also arrived. Marco and Emily were very surprised seeing Daniel, having bruises on his body. Marco then informed Daniel that he already contacted an Attorney that would handle Daniel's case against Nathan. Later that time, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) together with Luisa Alcantara/Reyes (Sharmaine Buencamino) arrived wherein Katerina hurriedly hugged Daniel. Katerina then noticed Daniel's bruises and concluded that it was Nathan's fault. Katerina confronted Nathan why Daniel had bruises even though Daniel already surrendered to the authorities. Nathan, on the other hand, was very happy seeing Katerina at the police station wherein he tried to approach Katerina but Daniel interfered his way. Meanwhile, Marco stopped Nathan from insisting to approach Katerina because Nathan and Katerina had an annulment case. On the other hand, Katerina informed everybody especially a police officer that Nathan is not allowed go near Katerina. Later that time, Nathan together with Margaret and Johanna had a conversation right outside the police station. Johanna was surprised to know that Katerina and Nathan have an annulment case and that their family is slowly falling apart. Margaret, on the other hand, tried to convince both Nathan and Johanna to go with her in the US, to free themselves from problems involving Daniel and Katerina. Margaret even tried to convince Nathan to stop bothering Katerina anymore because their marriage is fake but Nathan wants Katerina badly.
