Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) stabbed himself with the knife he brought to kill Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin). Meanwhile, Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) was very shocked when she saw Nathan stabbing himself. Johanna then hurriedly brought Nathan to the hospital and called her grandmother, Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa). At the hospital, Johanna was traumatized by the incident and did not gave any information about what really happened to Nathan. After awhile, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) together with Jean Bonifacio (Eula Valdez) arrived at the hospital. Marco was very surprised and confused when Nathan mistakenly called Jean as his mommy. Jean, on the other hand, then approached Nathan, asking what happened to him. Because Johanna failed to give an information, Nathan informed his family that Daniel almost killed him. Concurrently, in Legaspi, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) had a conversation with Luisa (Sharmaine Buencamino) while they are washing their clothes. Luisa asked many questions about Katerina's mother and how Katerina lived without her. Later that moment, Yaya Perla (Arlene Muhlach) together with Daniel arrived home. Daniel then had a conversation with Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) wherein Virginia asked Daniel what happened to him back in Manila. Meanwhile, Katerina also asked Daniel why he went to Manila, but Daniel just kept his mouth shut.
