Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) is finally safe from Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) saved Katerina at the hospital from Nathan's goons. Recently, Katerina and Daniel rented a room and stayed there for awhile. Katerina wanted to go back to the province already so that Nathan won't be able to track them anymore. Daniel, on the other hand, disagreed to what Katerina wanted because Daniel wants to make sure that Katerina is doing fine. Meanwhile, at the Montenegro's residence, Jean/Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro (Eula Valdez) confronted Nathan about what she knew from Daniel. Jane asked Nathan why Katerina is very determined to annul their marriage and concluded that Nathan battered his wife. Nathan, on the other hand, defended himself, telling his mother that he loves Katerina very much. Later that time, Jane together with Nathan, Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) and Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) gathered at the living room. After awhile, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) arrived and wondered why his family looked very deppressed. Jane then informed her family how much she tried to convince Nathan to leave Katerina alone and move on with his life but Nathan strongly disagreed. Jane also informed her family that she is giving up her marriage to Marco because she believed that they can not bring back the relationship they have anymore. Marco, on the other hand, was very shocked but thanked Jane for understanding his feelings for Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta). Later that moment, Margaret had a conversation with Jane wherein Margaret tried to convince Jane to take back her decision of letting Marco be married to Emily. Unfortunately, Jane already made a decision. After awhile, Margaret called Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino) and informed him about Jane's decision. Margaret even told Miguel that she did everything she could to change Jane's decision but she failed. Miguel, on the other hand, was very disappointed and asked his goons to kidnap Jane. Later that time, Miguel successfully kidnapped Jane and brought her at his residence. Miguel even told Margaret that he took Jane so that he could personally convince Jane to change her decisions personally. With this in mind, will Jane be able to escape from Miguel?
