Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) appealed at the first court hearing for her annulment case with Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Katerina had no idea that Nathan was also there at the court. After the hearing, Nathan saw Katerina talking to her Attorney wherein he then approached Katerina and begged for her to come back. Nathan even kneeled down in front of Katerina so that Katerina would change her mind towards their annulment case. Unfortunately, Katerina is very determined to annul their marriage and told Nathan not to bother begging for another chance. Meanwhile, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) talked to his private investigator and knew that Nathan and Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) might be responsible of Katerina's disappearance back then. Marco then hurriedly went back home and confronted Johanna about the information he just knew. As much as Marco wanted Johanna to admit being responsible of locking up Katerina, Johanna did not risk the truth. Concurrently, at the Guidotti Imports, Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) was informed by Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) to prepare an event for the the Guidotti wine launch. Emily was very surprised that the launch would be in two days time and tried to convince Tomas to reschedule the event. Unluckily, Tomas have finally decided and just told Emily to focus more on her work at the Guidotti Imports rather on her love life. Emily, on the other hand, had no other choice but to accept the challenge of having an event in two days time. During Emily's conversation with Tomas, Emily saw her son, Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) who pretended to be a janitor. Later that time, Emily and Daniel then had a conversation inside a secret room wherein Daniel let Emily promise to get married with Marco.
