At the Montenegro's residence, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) was surprised to see Jean Bonifacio (Eula Valdez) at their house. Marco then interrogated Jean about where she went to school while she was still in the US. Marco even asked Jean, why she loves to spend more time with his children. Jean, on the other hand, was very tensed of Marco's questions and was ran out of reasons. Luckily, Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) came to the scene, convincing Jean to reveal herself as Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro. As much as Jean wanted to reveal herself as Jane, Jean let Marco know how much she wanted to be close to his children for the sake of Jane. Meanwhile, in Legaspi, Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) finally saw Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) and Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin), who were taken care of Yaya Perla (Arlene Muhlach). Virginia recently knew from Daniel that Katerina was raped by her husband, Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Virginia then had a conversation with Katerina wherein Virginia comforted Katerina's feelings and fear of Nathan. Meanwhile, Daniel decided to go back in Manila to settle some things especially with Nathan. Katerina and Virginia opposed to Daniel's decision but they both have to respect what Daniel wants to do. Back in Manila, at the Montenegro's residence, Daniel confronted his father, Marco, about what he knew towards Katerina's disappearance. Daniel even called the presence of Johanna and Nathan to admit that they are responsible of Katerina's disappearance. Nathan and Johanna, on the other hand, defended themselves by letting Marco believe them more than Daniel. Unfortunately, Marco doubted both Nathan and Johanna because of their unsure answers.
