Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) safely arrived at the house of Yaya Perla (Arlene Muhlach) in Batangas. Katerina is very thankful that Yaya Perla helped her and did not inform anybody else. Meanwhile, at the Guidotti's residence, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) informed his fiancee, Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta), about his decision in letting his mother live at their house again. Marco had no other choice but to accept Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) at their house again because it was Nathan's request. On the other hand, left without a choice, Emily just accepted Marco's decision. Emily and Marco then talked about what Emily knew from Jean Bonifacio (Eula Valdez) wherein Marco then explained his side so that Emily won't get jealous. After Emily and Marco's conversation, Emily went to Daniel's room. Emily was surprised to see Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) packing up his things to find Katerina. Emily tried to stop Daniel from going but Daniel already made his decision. Meanwhile, Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) knew from Emily that Daniel decided to look for Katerina. Virginia then revealed everything she knew about Daniel and Katerina's plan of living together. Without any idea, Jean was at the Guidotti's main door and heard everything Emily and Virginia talked.
Jean then confronted Marco about what she heard wherein Marco got very mad and scolded Daniel about it. Concurrently, Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) together with Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) knew from Jean about Daniel's plan. Nathan then went to convince Virginia to give him Yaya Perla's address but Virginia could not risk Katerina's life again. Virginia knew all along that Nathan battered Katerina even without a reason.
