Bekka Espiritu (Pamu Pamorada) was hit by a truck and was rushed to the hospital by some bystanders accompanied by her mother, Esther Espiritu (Jaclyn Jose). Esther was very shocked of the incident because all she wanted to do was to drink some gin, to forget about her personal problems. At the hospital, Esther still can not believe that Bekka was hit by a truck and she blames herself of the incident. Meanwhile, Andrea San Jose (Iza Calzado) had a romantic dinner with Rafael de Guzman (Jake Cuenca) at Rafael's car. Andrea appreciated Rafael's effort just to impress her even though it is not necessary. After awhile, Andrea received a call from Salve (Jenny Miller) and knew about Bekka's accident. Andrea together with Rafael then hurriedly went to the hospital and sympathized with the Espiritu family. Later that moment, a Doctor approached them and informed them about Bekka's medical condition. The Doctor also informed the Espiritu family that they need to prepare a big amount of money so that Bekka's life will be saved. Concurrently, Veronica Salvacion (Andi Eigenmann) was invited by Christian Morales (Alex Castro) at their residence to finally meet Christian's parents. Veronica dressed up gorgeously and was very tensed to meet Christian's parents. Christian, on the other hand, assured Veronica that everything will be alright.
