Carlos Samonte (Raymnd Bagatsing) confronted Ellen Balute (Jean Garcia) and asked her why she did that to his business. Ellen told him that he only deserves that. He does not deserve to be called as the father to their child, Elize Samonte (Louise Delos Reyes). Carlos then told Ellen that Mayor Henry Sandoval (Bembol Roco) would only use her. She should come up to that realization because she is just a woman whose body is for usage for men. Ellen came to think about it. When she reached home, that dinner she asked Mayor Henry about something. Ellen tried to tell him about marriage but she did not did it directly.

Ellen decided to g o home to their house in Manila. Her sister, Violy Balute (Francheska Farr) was surprised that she was there. She told her of what happened in Batangas. She thinks that Mayor Henry could not help her. And she had also realized that she can never beat Carlos and his wife, Dr. Leila Samonte (Agot Isidro). Eliza, on the other hand, was very hurt when her mother Leila told her that she is also adopted. Elize asked what her mother means by those words. Leila explained that she is just the same with her Aunt Marla (Wynwyn Marquez). They are both transients in that house.
